San Diego, CA – March 31st, 2025 – The Southern California Rental Housing Association (SCRHA), a leading trade association representing rental housing providers and real estate professionals, announced today it has reached an agreement with 950 Credit, Inc. which conducts business under the tradename Credit Rent Boost to offer positive rent payment reporting pursuant to new state law, Assembly Bill 2747. Credit Rent Boost’s pioneering solution helps renters build a credit history and strengthen credit scores by reporting monthly, on time rent payments and also allows housing providers to comply with the requirements of Assembly Bill 2747, which is effective as of April 1, 2025.
California’s Assembly Bill 2747 goes into effect on April 1, 2025, and requires landlords to offer their renters the option to have their positive rental payment information reported to one or more of the major credit bureaus. Housing providers can connect with Credit Rent Boost directly, simplifying the process of enrolling renters and authorizing rent reporting. Renters can conveniently submit their monthly rent payments, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to credit bureaus.
“This partnership underscores our dedication to supporting rental housing providers with practical solutions that streamline compliance and enhance operational efficiency,” said Alan Pentico, Executive Director at SCRHA. “By connecting Credit Rent Boost with our members and other housing providers, we’re not only helping tenants build better credit scores leading to stronger financial health and long-term stability, but we are also offering housing providers a convenient way to comply with California law under Assembly Bill 2747.”
“It has been great collaborating with SCRHA to simplify the rent reporting process and help both property managers and tenants enjoy its benefits,” said Gregg Watkins, Chief Development Officer at Credit Rent Boost. “Through a simplified process and seamless integration, we’re empowering tenants to build their credit history and move closer to their financial goals.”
This agreement marks a significant step forward in the rental housing industry by combining the power of technologies to improve financial outcomes for tenants and landlords. By leveraging the strengths of SCRHA and Credit Rent Boost, this collaboration will help shape the future of property management and tenant empowerment.

Our service provides unmatched benefits, including the ability to report up to the last 24 months of rent payments, giving tenants an immediate credit history boost. Best of all, there is no additional cost for landlords enrolling 10 or more tenants. Tenants also gain a credit age attribute based on their lease start date, which can have a significant positive impact on their credit scores. This
gives your tenants an incentive to make rent payments on time. Studies show that longer credit histories result in stronger credit profiles, and your partnership with Credit Rent Boost enables you to offer this advantage to your tenants.
By taking proactive steps to meet the requirements of A.B. 2747, you’re not only staying compliant but also fostering financial responsibility and empowerment for your tenants.
We understand that landlords have different priorities when it comes to billing tenants. That’s why we offer flexible options to fit your needs. For landlords aiming to enhance goodwill with existing tenants, we provide free reporting for the first year, until the lease renews, or until a new tenant moves in. Alternatively, if you prefer to simplify your process and start tenant billing immediately, we can accommodate that too. The choice is yours—our plans are designed to adapt to what works best for you.
Our streamlined process handles rent reporting for all tenants on your lease agreements, making compliance with AB 2747 effortless.
By utilizing Credit Rent Boost, landlords have the opportunity to recover the service costs through tenant participation fees.

I had a great conversation with customer service I was missing documents. She tried helping me by being hopeful to get my old landlord to answer their email. I called and asked if they could respond to the email and she said she was going to. This is a great company to do business with because of their staff. Great job. The website was easy to fill out and if you have questions they do pick up their phone Arizona time. Thank you for answering the phone.Posted on TINA BUNDYTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I want to especially thank Elsa!! Not even sure what frame of mind I'd be in w/o all her dedicated assistance! Now on to my personal experience working w/950 Credit, Inc: EXCEPTIONAL! If I could give them 10 stars, I would. (and I RARELY leave reviews because I am definitely one of those people who don't pay no attention to other's opinions) but, 950 Credit DESERVES this recognition! Phoned in on 5/5/25- needed major assistance in getting my downloads/rental payments allocated- my tradeline(s) were submitted to bureaus on 5/15/25- and I was notified of the reporting INCREASE(s) for TransUnion & Equifax (several days earlier than advised I would). Experian is separate and should update 5/22/25 per what I was advised. My score(s) went up 92 points (and I was already above the 600 mark prior to this reporting). A HUGE THANK YOU- to all who assisted me in getting this done! (especially Elsa!)Posted on Tyler MayTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. She has great customer service. I will recommend my friends that need help with credit.Posted on Krystal HowardTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently started using Credit Rent Boost, and I must say, the setup process has been impressively smooth and user-friendly. From the moment I signed up, I found the interface intuitive, making it easy to navigate through the necessary steps. One of the standout features of my experience so far has been the customer service team. They have been incredibly helpful and responsive, promptly addressing all my initial questions and concerns. It’s reassuring to know that support is just a message away, especially when venturing into something new. While I haven’t yet seen a noticeable impact on my credit score, I remain optimistic about the potential benefits. The idea of having my rental payments contribute positively to my credit history is exciting, and I appreciate the opportunity to enhance my credit profile in this way. I plan to keep track of my progress and will update this review once I start seeing the full benefits of the service. For now, I’m quite satisfied with my experience and look forward to what’s to come!Posted on Tanya PaceTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
