Here’s how our Fairness Guarantee works:

If your bank isn’t supported by Plaid:

  • We’ll verify this with Plaid, and you’ll get a 100% refund — as long as you request it within 30 days of enrollment.

If you change your mind or make a mistake during enrollment:

  • Whether it’s rent or utility reporting, we’ll refund your payment minus a small $9 processing fee — as long as you request it within 30 days of enrollment.

If your enrollment is only the $6.95 monthly subscription:

  • If you decide to cancel, there’s no refund — but we’ll also not charge the $9 processing fee.

Once reporting begins, once your account setup has been completed, or after 30 days:

  • Fees are non-refundable, just like most companies in our industry.

Important: All refund requests must be submitted through the Message Center in your customer portal.

The detail.

General Rule

All fees paid to 950 Credit, Inc. (Credit Rent Boost, “CRB”) for rent and/or utility reporting and credit monitoring are non-refundable once reporting has commenced or once the customer’s account setup has been completed.

Plaid Connectivity Exception

If CRB verifies that the customer’s financial institution is not supported by Plaid, the customer will receive a full refund of all fees paid, provided the refund request is submitted within thirty (30) days of enrollment.

Customer Error / Incomplete Enrollment

If rent or utility enrollment is not completed due to customer error (including but not limited to: failure to use the enrolled bank account for rent or utility payments, use of a roommate’s or spouse’s account, or failure to provide accurate documentation), CRB will issue a refund minus a $9.00 processing fee, provided the refund request is submitted within thirty (30) days of enrollment.

Change of Mind

Customers who voluntarily cancel or fail to complete enrollment for reasons other than Plaid connectivity will be subject to the $9.00 processing fee, provided the refund request is submitted within thirty (30) days of enrollment.

30-Day Limit

Any refund request made after thirty (30) days from enrollment will be denied, regardless of reason, including Plaid connectivity.

Non-Refundable Once Reporting or Completion Occurs

Once CRB has initiated rent or utility reporting to any credit bureau, or once the customer’s account setup has been completed, all fees are strictly non-refundable.

Refund Request Submission Requirement

All refund requests must be submitted exclusively through the Message Center in the customer portal.

$6.95 Monthly Subscription Clarification

If a customer’s total enrollment consists solely of the $6.95 ongoing monthly subscription, and they elect to cancel, no refund will be issued. However, CRB will also not charge the $9.00 processing fee in such cases.
